Title: The Hive Worcester - Worcester County Archive
Post by: mandatedhh on Friday 20 November 15 01:40 GMT (UK)
Hi, wondering if someone could look up a record in Worcestershire Parish Records for me? It is a baptism, J Clarke, 1801 in Worcester St John of Bedwardine. Father is Thomas.

I have searched on http://www.fhs-online.co.uk/ to check it is there, and it says there is free access in the Hive - ideally I'd love a picture of the original register as it should show father's occupation?

Please let me know if you would be able to look it up!

Thank you :)

Hi
The baptismal entry on the microfilm for Worcester, St Johns, for August 10th 1801, shows John Clarke the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Clarke. It's an old-style Baptismal Register, so no information about father's occupation.

If John was their first child, it's rather a large gap between a marriage and a first child, but on December 8th 1796 a Thomas Clarke married Elizabeth Bosworth at Worcester, St Johns.
