I believe that I've posted about this family before but new evidence has appeared about him. Originally married Jennie Quigley Q3 1926 at Southwark, they appear to have divorced as she seems to have remarried John Elliott in 1946.
Leslie J travelled from New York 26 Jan 1953 with wife, Elizabeth aged 35. Recorded as deportees, proposed address 63 Sutherland Sq, London SE 17; this was where his parents were living.
Somewhere along the line he had a son, James William Bunner who died in NZ in 2013 but I can't find a birth for him in the UK so presume that he was born in Rhodesia but unsure as to who was his mother and when he was born?
I've posted this to the Rhodesia board too, to see if there is anymore help there.

I don't know where and exactly when James Wm Bunner died, all I have is 2013 NZ which was given by ceebee on here a while ago. He only posted once and I got no further replies from him/her?

Re the death of James W. This does not appear on the NZ BDM website, possibly because it is outside this area?-
"Deaths that occurred at least 50 years ago or the deceased's date of birth was at least 80 years ago".

The name of Bunner would appear to be rare in New Zealand. I am aware that many people no longer list in the 'White Pages'; there just being one to be found here:

Perhaps the one you found in the white pages is ceebee or one of his/her relations? Yes with a death of 2013 James's too new for those records.

In the 1981 E/R's for New Plymouth, Taranaki, there is a James William Bunner. 1972 there was a James William H Bunner in Wellington. You think this is your chap?

Hi KHP yes could well be, especially as minniehaha has found a possible relation in the white pages living in Paraparaumu Kapiti. Does the white pages give phone numbers for the people in them? I could phone and find out?

Yes, they do, just click on the part that says "Phone Us". Another thing to take into consideration is that not everyone will put a death notice in the paper.

Tried the Australian enterprises link but no answers there. However, I've found a Clive, Jennifer and Toni Bunner on facebook and messaged them in hope that they'll reply and not think it's a scam!
Do you think that the Wairere in Doreen's name could be her maiden name, it seems to be a place in NZ?

In the white pages for Toni, is the phone number given hers or white pages hq? Secondly, what codes would I need to take off and add to call from England?

The number given in the 'White Pages' link is that for the person listed.
The code for New Zealand is 0064, then add the number listed but omit the "0" from 0-4.
