Hi .... Would anyone be able to recommend a local history book that contains pictures etc of the Riviera Hotel in Weymouth. Would love to be able to purchase for a Christmas present.
Many thanks

I don't actually know of any but I do know that the local Tourist Information on Trinity Street in Dorchester has many such books for sale. Also the staff are very good and might be able to help you. There is also the Dorset History Centre on Bridport Road in Dorchester who are also very helpful. You can contact them online on www.dorsetforyou.com

Probably a bit optimistic/late in the day for this Xmas, to find, obtain and wrap.
Here's a random website online that points out that hotel in old postcards
http://www.bowleazecove.co.uk/old_bowleaze.htm
So you could (cheekily) print out a couple and frame them in the meantime, or as stocking fillers.
They have a page on the hotel too: http://www.bowleazecove.co.uk/riviera_hotel.htm
