Family Search . Judith Owen married Jared Nicholson in 1816 at Holyhead .
Family Search. Judith Owen bapt 26 Sep 1794 Holyhead. No parents named.

In 1864 there is newspaper article from which I find her mother’s name is Emma and Emma is still alive.
These are they only Emma`s I can find, but surely these would be too young to have been Judith`s mother.

Look like you are right .
In Sept qtr 1863 Jared Nicholson married Jane Owens in Anglesey.
I think this must be him, his sister Ellen had also moved to Liverpool.
His ages are inconsistent though.
1871 Birkenhead. Wrong name and age for Jared.

John Owen & Mary Prichard were married July 21 1778 (It's as basic as that - no other info)

Lewis, son of John Owen, sailor by Mary his wife, bap May 1 1779
Will check Holyhead baptisms 1779-1794 to see how long this couple continued to "produce"!!

Going back to Jane Owens /Jared Nicholson jnr
The only census I can find with a mother named Emma is this. I can`t find the family before or after.
Are you able to confirm this is the correct family.

Owen Owen - 30, Emma Owen - 30, Elizabeth Owen - 14, Mary Owen - 11, Edward Owen - 4, William - 1. All born Anglesey, Owen is described as 'Ag lab'.

Jane dau. of Owen Owen and Emma Prichard 17 Sep 1845
John's death registration has - 24 July 1842, age 5 days at Baptist Chapel Street, Holyhead, son of labourer Owen Owens. Informant Owen Owens.
