I am trying to correctly place the following in my family tree.
I have extracted the following from the Will of William SHARRARD of Braunston, Rutland yeoman, proved in 1655.
William SHARRARD married Elizabeth (buried 3 Nov 1673)
- William SHARRARD (under the age of 21)
- Elizabeth SHARRARD (unmarried)
John SHARRARD (buried 21 Feb 1674/1675)
I am trying to link them to my tree, of which I have ;
father, living 7 Feb 1718/1719
- William SHARRARD (Will dated 7 Feb 1718/1719, buried 10 Feb 1719) of Knawston, Leicestershire married 12 Jan 1694 Ann PECK
- William SHARRARD baptised 11 Aug 1700, Knossington, Leicestershire, married 16 Mar 1726 Brigitt HUBBARD
- George SHARRAD married Mary (who next married Richard WYCHE)
Can anyone link these people or me, please?
Regards
Grantley

Hi Bunnygirl,
Thank you. Yes they are my ancestors.
It appears that the SHARRARD/SHARRAD/SHERRAD family first appear in the Langham registers with the marriage in 1726 of William SHARRAD & Brigit HUBBARD.
It is that William’s grandfather (who was alive on the 7th Feb 1718/1719) that I haven’t identified with a name. He is possibly the William (under the age of 21) as listed in the 1655 Will. Or there is another generation.

Excellent :)
Regarding your LANGHAM burial in 1573, I was looking at the Parish Register that started from 1687 so your find shows that they were obviously in Langham a century earlier. I have no idea where he slots into my tree.
Your other entries appear to all relate to the people in my original post, which add to my tree ( once again :) )
So that I can correctly record my sources, from what discs should I record that the entries came from?
Wills, I love Wills. Regarding the SHARRADs, I have ;
William SHARRARD of Braunston – proved 1655
William SHARRAD elder of Knawston – proved 1719
George SHARRAD of Langham – proved 1785
If you know of other Wills, then I would love to know about them, please.

Grantley
