Title: 1871/1881 census lookup please

I found this family on the 1881 census in Llandwrog  Humphrey Williams
                                                         Grace       Williams wife
                                                          Catharine             daughter
                                                         Margaret G            daughter
                                                         William    jones lodger
 Census number rg11 piece 5564 folio 10 page 13
 
 On the 1871 census William jones is down as a son, please can someone explain to me he is a son on one census then a lodger on the 1881 census. Looks like his mother have remarried.

Do you know that he is the same William Jones?

Who does he name as his father on his marriage certificate?

Of course, it could simply be an enumerator error?! ::)

I'm assuming that Humphrey Williams married either Grace Ellis in the March quarter of 1866, or that it was Grace Owens in the September quarter of 1865 - the only two instances I can see of a Humphrey Williams and Grace ? appearing on the same page.  Both marriages having taken place in the Carnarvon Registration District.
