I am trying to determine if Kirsten Johansdatter in this 1787 census is the same one who married Christen Nielsen after the death of her previous husband (Anefeldt) in my previous post. The original census looks like it might have been mis-transcribed. Any help would be appreciated. I was unable to fine either of the two sons in the military registers, possibly due to the name.

His name was Ahnfeldt. He used to be an estate manager now searching employment.
The Ahnfeldt sons probably didn't serve in the military due to their fathers high social status. Only sons of the low classes in rural areas had to serve in the military.

Thank you for the confirmation of the connection for this name. This document attached is very similar to the census image that I looked up. What kind of document is it? I have looked for his death record and do not find it in Storring. Do you have any suggestions on where to look? His wife remarried in 1790 in Framlev.

1789-07-30 Death Marslet-Ning-Arhus image 133 -detail
Brian, based on your last response I was able to find a death record. I am having issues translating the parish record. Here is what I have:
[?] 30th July
Buried Lord [?] [?] Ahnfeldt [?] died
[? - same word as earlier - ?] Wilhelmsborg in [?] [?] 56 years
Thank you!

at Wilhelmsborg at the age of 56.
The link from my previous post is to a note created by H S A Nygaard regarding the 1787 census.

I was able to find the link to replicate the search from which you created the link. Thank you for the explanation on the notes. These will help me locate deaths and marriages for his (Ahnfeldt) other wives in Parish records.
Brian, thank you so much for the help.

This is Nygård's note regarding Johan Henrich Ahnfeldt's probate record.
http://www.ddd.dda.dk/nygaard/visning_billed.asp?id=2068&sort=e
It gives the name of his first wife and the children from that marriage. The 3 oldest children are in Holsten, the area north of Hamburg in Germany.
It also names the widow and the children from that marriage who both are living at home.
At the end it says "Boet fallit" meaning he was bankrupt.
The original probate is listing all their posessions as well as creditors. The record names a Peder Michelsen as Kirsten Johansdatter's legal guardian. Legal guardians are often family members. Maybe an uncle or brother-in-law?

There is a 1779 document #2074 labeled as Arhus Skift which references the death of his first wife. Do you have any suggestions on which parish this death occurred? I am hoping that might lead me to the parish where he married the second time.

I found the death of his first wife and am moving on to find the second.
Thanks.
-
In the last column of the census detail is there anything that would provide a clue as to where they were married? It looks like both children are listed as illegitimate.
Thanks...Kevin
-
No, the last column says that he used to be a manager and now is looking for a job.
Both Johan Henrich and Hans Jokum are "Børn af 2et Ægteskab" - children from the 2nd marriage and "ugift" - unmarried.

1781-09-16 Birth Johan Henrich 1st born -detail
This attachment is the birth record of Kirsten's first born. I am hoping it will give me a clue as to her birth parish (and possibly the marriage). I am unable to read much of this record and would be very appreciative of any help with the transcription/translation.
Thanks, Kevin

The birth record for Johan Henrich, daughter of Kirsten Johansdatter lists Johan Peiter in Tulstrup as a witness. I found a birth record for Kirsten there with him as the father but am having a little trouble and need help with some of the words. Thanks.

Skomager - shoe maker
-
What is the name where the father is from? ... barn of [?] født...
Thanks very much.
-
I read it as Tunstrup, possibly Timstrup. There are so such places today, so my guess is that it could be an old spelling of Tulstrup. There is a Tvenstrup in Odder Parish just south of Tulstrup.
