Hi Tristan, thank you for replying.
He was born about 1904 probably in kent. He was a gypsy traveller. That is virtually all I know at the moment.

So we know he died in Canterbury in 1985, birth year given as 1904
so the easiest way to start is to purchase his marriage cert, work it back, and add it to the information you already have on your other post

Amos Hilden is my Grandad. He died in 1985 in Canterbury, Kent. He was a traveller, married to Celia (known as Celie) Taylor and had three sons - Amos, Thomas and John. They settled in Preston near Wingham. I dont know very much about his own family except he had brothers, one called Nelson, and possibly a sister.

from their marriage Amos was born to William Hilden whose partner/wife was an Ada in 1939
Celia Hilden was born to Hodge/Hoger/George Hilden [ died by 1916]and partner/wife Agnes Taylor
William and Hoger are brothers
