Bob's impressive SITting skills have given us new functionality to search by county.
Now, I put my names back in the beginning and I thought I was being helpful being specific about locations. I used Annan or LLandudno etc rather than county - especially for common names like Green or Hughes.
This means my names aren't picked up for people looking at "All Dumfriesshire" (or whatever county).
I've now edited all my entries to include the 3 letter Chapman code for the county.
If you aren't familiar with these codes here they are...
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/Regions/Codes.html
They are a universal code for the county names.
It doesn't take long to edit your entries.
If you do it then your names will be picked up by more and more people. Also new memebers add names daily so it is worth checking your connections frequently.
All the best,
Pam
;D
PS Bob, hope you don't mind my posting - just enthusiastic about your excellent table ;D

Thanks Pam !
The Chapman Codes are also available on the SIT as a pull down menu in the County-Search !
Bob
PS:
yes please - edit your entries !! Some people have still got two names in the surname section, or no location in the comments. Every little helps !
