Can anyone help me track down burial details of 3 ancestors who I believe may be buried in St Johns, Clifton. They lived in Clifton and I know they are not buried at Brighouse.
ISAAC SAVILLE, Died, January 11, 1875.
JOHN SAVILLE. Died, Dec qtr 1897.
ANN SAVILLE, Died, Sept qtr, 1886.
It is infuriating trying to find people so if someone has access to the church records I would be very grateful for a lookup. Have searched all possible online indexes without success.
Any help would be most appreciated.

There's also St Peters at Hartshead as another option?

Thanks Ady, I will investigate that.

Depending on how important these ancestors are to you, side shoots or main line (Gt) grandparents
etc - having an exact date of death will speed things up - like having death certificate info.
Clifton Towngate cemetery is next door to ST John which is a big churchyard come consecrated cemetery
Park Wood Crematorium Elland hold the records , as link (Clifton towngate in list)

Thankyou so much for the information.
Kind Regards, Andrew.

Alternatively West Yorkshire Archive Service hold the parish registers for St John, Clifton. Burials commence 1860.
As you have Isaac's exact date of death, then a search for him would not be time-consuming.

I think that broadysword was looking at St John Clifton rather than Clayton. :-\

Contacted the WYAC in Wakefield. Very helpful, got the info I needed. Thankyou to all who helped me achieve a result.
