Title: Missing from 1871 census
Post by: Joy Dean on Thursday 04 February 16 17:16 GMT (UK)
Can anyone find, please, Richard Alexander Keartland, an ironmonger, born in Kennington in 1838 with his wife Mary Ann, born in Newington in 1837?
They married in 1869 and, hopefully, would have had with them Mary Ann's children from her first marriage to Joseph William Brooks, ie Mary Ann Harriet Brooks born in 1857, Elizabeth Brooks born in 1860 - both born in Hoxton - and William Joseph Brooks born in Lambeth in 1862.

Thank you very much, both of you.

Major mis-transcriptions in all three sites!
Having said that, the image is not at all easy to read on FindMyPast,
