Edgar married Ethel Wells Hoffmann. I cannot find anything out about who Edgar's parents are?
Does anyone have Edgar George in their family tree or have any details on him??? ;D ;D ;D

If you get a printout of the marriage, Edgar will tell you who his parents are and where he was born.

Unfortunately i have tried that, and when i enter the details of the bridegroom and the groom, it tells me that there are no records..... ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

I think I have found his parents another way..... If I entered a 'birth certificate search' for Edgar George, there is only one which has him born in 1895 (MMQY-1YF a pedigree resource file on family search has Edgar George born 1894 Auckland New Zealand). So I think a year out is acceptable and I did the search over a few years under births for Edgar.
So the birth certificate details, has the father as Edward James and the mother is Lily. If I go to family search to search these two, I have two likely hits. One is incorrect as the marriage was in Australia and then Lily died in Australia. Which leaves the other one, which was a marriage in NZ with a spouse 'Eliza Lilly Gibson'. This will be the link, as of their sons, my grandfather's brother, was called 'Gibson' ;D ;D ;D

For the marriage I tried HOFFMANN Ethel and a 1915-1921 date range and I found this,
1917/1154 Ethel Wells HOFFMANN Edgar GEORGE
