Hi
Not really a restoration question, more a matter of opinion. (Providing I can actually get the pictures to load.)
The lady in the hat is my grandmother. The photo was taken in the mid thirties. The other photo is a mystery lady, but possible my grandmother's mother. The clothes certainly look to be the right period, but does anyone else see any sort of family resemblence? I believe I do, but am also very wary that it might simply be wishful thinking. I know you will all be honest.
Regards
Julie
Sorry, just can't get it to work...I'll just have to get someone who knows about computers to help me.

Could it be that its because you are loading a text file instead of a picture?

Hi Julie,
are you loading the right file ??? The extension given is .txt which is usually a text file ???
images are usuall .gif .bmp or .jpg
Here you need jpg. If it's bmp for instance then look at this topic

You will need to rescan the photo as the file contains no information.
