I am trying to find a lead to  George Edward Fox, he was married to my grandmother Beatrice Elizabeth Sallis/Willmott. He married her in 1926 lewisham,they had only one son as far as I can see

Birth registration was March qtr 1929

Have you looked for him in 1939.  He could still be living in which case he won't appear on that register

You should consider removing his name as it is likely he is still alive  :-\

George E Fox married Beatrice in the  JunQ 1926;  a copy of the certificate should give the name and occupation of his father.  A copy can be ordered from GRO and cost £9.25.

Possible death:

 Born Beatrice Elizabeth Sallis 1890 married William John Willmott 1909 Greenwich daughter Gwendoline Beatrice Willmott born 13/11/1910 died 2004 Surrey.

Beatrice seems to be on 1939 index in Lewisham.

Think that is the wrong Fox, have managed to find Beatrice Elizabeth and George Fox in some electoral roll, thank you for advice
