Not heard of this place, i guess it must have some history. Do any "locals" know what this was? did they keep records?
No substitute for our modern health services of course!!
There isnt that much i can find online, probably looking in the wrong place!!

Good find, regarding death of Walter Wright.
I've just looked through the Beds newspapers on FindMyPast searching for Platt Higgins & found the attached re her death & will of Sept 1925 & it mentions the 'cottage hospital' of 6 beds that she ran in conjuction with Dr Morris Cock. They are a few more articles for them & refers to 'The Home'.
Also attached is a link to the Kellys 1898 directory for Turvey where both are mentioned but no reference to this cottage hospital.

His death predates both documents so it's surprising that it doesn't appear in the almanac
