Since yesterday when I was playing with a new iPad, something changed in my message box and it now looks like the attached image. I wasn't aware of 'doing' anything to cause it! ::) ::) ;)
How can I revert to normal please?
Someone told me the format hasn't been changed so I presume it is only on my computer and iPad. I am back on the desk top but the layout is the same.

Are you looking at it in portrait mode- mine is like that when I do but if I turn the iPad to landscape all is well.
Beg your pardon, I see you are on your desktop!
Ignore my simple solution. ;)

Mine does that if I increase the font size. Try ctrl & - and see if that reverts it to normal.

No - that doesn't do anything . . . . I wonder if I open the iPad again and do something there if it will change - but if that were the case you'd think the desktop would be 'normal'.
Just had a message from a friend to say theirs always looks like this?? ::) :-\
Changing the foont size isn't doing anything either.

Wiggy, go to "HELP" at top of page, then go to "CONTACT SUPPORT" at bottom of that page.
There must be someone there who can help.
I had a look at "LOOK & LAYOUT" on the profile page but nothing on there about your problem.

It is showing Basic Page Style but that doesn't fix the problem. :-\ :)
So I clicked to the alternative . . . but that didn't fix it either! :-\ It certainly moved it to what is showing in your second post - but that isn't fixing the message box which is the only part of RC which changed. :-\ :)

Hey I missed the Massage Box :) :) I've got one with messages instead. :P
If you press on the arrow button I've highlighted in pink on the picture below, your messages (and massages) will look fine again. If you then do go in "portrait" mode again then they will tumble down again like your screenshot so that they fit.

I must have hit something awry on the iPad - for some reason it changed stuff on the desktop too - anyhow things are now back to normal - thank goodness - so much wasted space!
Do hope I can remember that for next time it happens . . . or remember to come back to this thread to find the simple answer! ;D ;D ;D

Not the same problem but .......
I had a problem with my printer (showing as being offline), I'd had the problem previously and solved it so I spent hours trawling through bookmarked websites, Rootschat help, all over the internet to find out how I'd done it. Finally something triggered how to resolve it so after I'd done so I wrote myself a document with the instructions as to how to fix it and saved that as 'Printer offline'. If I encounter the same problem again I'll be able to go straight to the solution.
You might find it helpful to write a similar document with specific instructions. I'd bookmark this thread anyway, it's not easy looking through all your own posts to find the relevant one! :)

- I have a book called 'How to Drive the Computer' and that's where I take notes of what I need to do if things go wrong, or if I want to do something which isn't an everyday activity! ;D And yes I use it frequently, though not as often as I used to! ;D
