Hi,
I wondered if you may be able to help me please?
I am after some baptisms in Leicester, as I have recently found 2 unrelated couples with the same surnames getting married at similar times and then both producing offspring!! :o (This could actually break down a mini brick wall I have!)
The children are
Agnes E GOODMAN birth registered Dec qtr 1917
William GOODMAN birth registered Mar qtr 1924
Clara V GOODMAN birth registered Jun qtr 1926
Dennis M GOODMAN birth registered Mar qtr 1929

Thank you so much for your reply, I do know of 2 from your list who have died Don & Ken but I realise I need to be careful, a trip to the LRO and a trawl will be next on the list then ;)

I don't think so as I've found her living in Birstall St, Leicester on the 1939 Register with her husband and a child Ivy May b 1908......if I'm right.... :-\

That is weird, I can only see one Ivy May Goodman bn Leicester around that time ::)

Sorry Ivy was with her parent's on the 1911, this is the line I'm not following but the parents have the same surnames as the ones I am :-\
The 1939 shows 3 closed records I must have assumed one was Ivy. sorry x

Yes that's exactly what I think about Agnes, but my cousins are adamant she's not their Aunt! :o I need to prove otherwise ;D unless......she called herself Jessie? ::)

The problem is that baptism records are not generally online for this period and you would need to know the church if someone was to go to look it up.

I think it'll be a case of looking for the closest church and trawling at the LRO ;D ::)

if you have a look at his army records, it explains the relationship to Lucy Maud born 1914 and the marriage date was 28 Feb 1917 Register Office

Have found Agnes's birth date from school records if her middle name is Esther, is it alright to post birth date for her?

If you are certain of a death I can post, Agnes Esther Goodman can be found in school records at the Leicester Records Office to double check as there are no parents recorded on the reference I have, date of birth is 4 Sep 1917
