Hi I was just wondering how I would find out where a baby is buried that died whilst living in Oakengates. Any help would be appreciated. Baby's name is James H Bates born in Egypt in 1948 travelled to Oakengates with his mother Deanna Valentine bates in 1948 at 2 months of age. Died same year in Oakengates. Address I have on ship record is 37 Walton ave Oakengates.
Thanks

Hi Perthtasha
Telford Council manages 3 cemeteries, the nearest looks to be Wellington about 3 miles from Oakengates

The website suggests you contact the Register Office but I don't think that is correct.

but give it a go and see if they can help

Hello
The nearest Church Yard/Cemetery is Wombridge Church which is only yards away from Walton Avenue.
