Hi,
I am trying to find any information on the family of Denis Murray & Mary Ann Croker who lived in Sarah Place in Old Kilmainham.
Denis 1880 - 1945 & Mary Ann 1886 - 1942.
They had 10 children who's birth dates I would like to find. I know they had 3 sets of twins.
Any information would be most welcome.

I'd had a look at the map and it seemed the correct area, but the knowing what names they used for the roads in the Electoral list can always be a problem.
You can see Sarah Place very clearly on this map

New Kilmainham i think extends from the Island Bridge area up to Chapelizod Village
Old Kilmainham would be around the area of Kilmainham Jail, to the best of my knowledge Old Kilmainham is missing from 1901 Census.
added have to rethink that one as Kilmainham Jail does appear on 1901 census as New Kilmainham however the family i was researching was Ardiff who lived in Old Kilmainham since the 1860s they do not appear on 1901 census for that part of Kilmainham, though they appear at Kilmainham Cottages in 1911.

Hi Michelle & welcome to rootschat :).
Doesn't look like yarrum has been back since May which is a shame when other members have taken the trouble to try to find out information. We do appreciate a 'thank you' !! When you & yarrum have made 3 posts [2 more each] you can exchange personal messages - pm - via the text icon under their avatar. As far as I know only the moderator can contact him/her otherwise.

Hi,
Sorry for not replying sooner to this post, but I am not too familiar with this site, and only saw the latest post today. Many thanks for all the replies which were very useful with my research with this family.
Chelliebarber, SORRY AGAIN, , I did receive your message on Ancestry , and yes I would be delighted with any information you can give on the family tree.
Thanks again for all your help.
regards .

If you go to your profile yarrum, then 'modify profile' you'll find an option is 'email notifications' where you can choose to receive a notification when a post is made on a thread you have started or contributed to. That way you can keep a tab on any posts.
Hope you get some useful info from chelliebarber.

Hello again,
I am still working on the Murray/Croker family tree. Unfortunately I have not had time lately to do a lot of research.
I have a tree on ancestry, maybe you could take a look at it and if their are any details you think you may have I would be delighted to hear from you.
regards,
Jane Tracy.
