Are there by chance any Balmer's or Cranstons listed? in particular a William and Mary Cranston (nee Balmer)?
I know Mary died in 1882 aged 72 in Cavers so I'm hoping she may have lived there for some time.

Peter Scott Son " age24
James Scott Son " age 21
John Scott son " age 19
William Scott Son " age 15
George Scott son " age 12
Ann Scott Wife " age 50
They were living at Shuttle hall in 1841

Margaret Wilson b abt 1760.and Nichol in Denholm and I believe Elizabeth Nichol
may have resided Canongate according to family letters.
