Hi Bethan

According to Lovell's Montreal Directory for 1910-11, Beaubien was located between St. Laurence (now probably St. Laurent) Boulevard and Papineau Avenue (although I believe it runs a bit west of St. Laurent today). There was no apparent division into east or west. The wards listed for Beaubien are Laurier and St. Denis. I'm sorry I can't tell you which would be the more westerly ward, but hope this info will narrow your search.
