Hi  :)

on the 1881 census I have Emma House living with her 10 year old son Arthur House ,
in St George street, Stamford,

I have search for a marriage for her, her maiden name was Pearson , I have had no luck  ::)

anyone able to spot one .

There is a marriage in st. Matthew, Marylebone of Emna Exton Pearson age 24 daughter of John Pearson a tailor, to Richard House age 21 a plumber.

Added, this fits with the family in George Street in the 1851 census.

just found her as a widow in 1891 , nurse to surgeon Calcott, now living in Oudle  ::)

sounds like a bit of a free spirit  8)
