Hi All,
Anyone have an idea where I can trace a burial in Weston please?
Alice Gertrude Walters died 29 Sept 1960 possibly buried with her husband and 2 sons.
Many Thanks

Hi,
You could try contacting the local council:
http://wsm-tc.gov.uk/services/cemetery/
Good Luck!

Or try Weston-Super-Mare Family History Society?
http://wsmfhs.org.uk/milton-road-cemetery
NB Worle cemetery & crematorium wasn't in use until 1968.

Hi R
If you get in touch with Weston FHS ask for your enquiry to be forwarded to Stan Baker as he has a very up to date data base & has details of all people buried in the graves even if there is no stone on the grave. a lot of the graves may have been re used up to 6 times but Stan has all the names regardless & is still gathering more I believe
All the very best

Hi Rich
Get in touch with Weston-super-Mare & District Family History Society through their web site & ask if Pat Hase will kindly forward your request to Stan Baker who has almost all the cemetery on a database & he can tell you who is buried in each grave even if there is no memorial as his info has been gathered on behalf of the society from the council records. Put it this way Stan is your best hope of tracking down the burial you need t0 find as quite a few graves were re used & some of them up to 6 times - the council even re used our only VCs grave for a girl who had a car crash
All the very best
