It's easier if you post a link to the Census.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/King_s_Co_/Ferbane/Ferbane_Town/552558/
The census says married 29 years 11 Children 8 living
so still one to find.
BTW
The title of the thread reads Johnson not Johnston, you can change this by using the modify button.

so what are you hoping to find?

thanks for your help , i have info on peter and tom , the rest of names i dont have any info i would like to find out were any married and had some children also where might they be buried
-
Without the help of a family member it would be very difficult to trace people after the 1911 Census.
Here for example are Patrick Johnston marriages since 1911
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01i9u/
It would be impossible to say which if any is your Patrick.
Maybe someone else tracing this family will see this thread and be able to help.
The next Census is 1926 so will not be available until 2026.
You could try some of the commercial sites to see if anyone has a tree for the family and make contact that way.
We could possibly help trace back further if you need help with that.
I'll see if I can figure out where Peter and Catherine are buried later. If we can find them perhaps some of the others are with them.

Kilrehan seems to be the local graveyard but I don't see any records for it.

thanks very much for your help myluck
i am wondering is it possible to find out was any of them married and had a family
where would i have to look ?
also dates of deaths of family members
-
There is a possibility that marriages are recorded on their baptismal records however these are too to be on line - http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0150
Ferbane is online up to 1877
The church may be able to help
If you use https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ to search for their civil birth records some are missing
I can see good possibilities for some (William, James, John, Catherine, Mary Bridget, Peter and Margaret) in Parsonstown/Birr but not the others
However for marriages and deaths you would need to know where to look or else invest in many certificates to be sure
Possibly Bridget's death aged 1 - LINK (http://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/92996412420569)
Possibly William's death aged 21 in 1906 - LINK (http://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/3ea32d13040941)
Here you can see the records for Margaret's birth and probable death - LINK (http://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-perform-search.jsp?namefm=margaret&namel=johnston&exact=&name2fm=&name2l=&location=&yyfrom=1901&yyto=1911&type=B&type=D¢ury=&decade=&sort=&pageSize=100&ddBfrom=&mmBfrom=&yyBfrom=&ddMfrom=&mmMfrom=&yyMfrom=&ddDfrom=&mmDfrom=&yyDfrom=&ddPfrom=&mmPfrom=&yyPfrom=&ddBto=&mmBto=&yyBto=&ddMto=&mmMto=&yyMto=&ddDto=&mmDto=&yyDto=&ddPto=&mmPto=&yyPto=&locationB=&locationM=&locationD=&locationP=&keywordb=&keywordm=&keywordd=&keywordp=&event=&district=Birr&submit=Search)
Starting at home there are 16 marriages between 1911 and 1950 listed in Birr with one party named JOHNSON/JOHNSON/JOHNSTONE
You can rule out the names that you don't have e.g. Martha etc.
What is left is quite a short list and worth the investment in obtaining certificates
(€4 each from the GRO) to see if they are the correct people
unfortunately no easy way to work forward with families

thank you so much myluck
thats a great help
i will look into getting some printed
those 3 deaths look very like part of the family
