Title: Hall family Father or son???
Post by: jomcd967 on Monday 22 August 16 09:26 BST (UK)
Could someone please help with dating this photo and working out if this is father 1824-1896 or son 1864-1923??

Any suggestions gratefully received.

I think its Son ...because he looks mid 30s years old...according to father D.O.B photo quality doesn't fit to be father

Thanks Loord74,

Is there any way of telling by the clothing?

I agree with Loord...This looks to be an 1880s photos but Jim will have a  better idea. If you could show the back including the corners it will help to pin down the date.

Thanks Carol,

Unfortunately it is just an emailed jpg, no idea what the card stock looks like.

Still hoping that someone may be able to narrow down the date by the clothing worn?

Any advice or suggestions are gratefully received.

Thank you,

Jo  :)
