Title: Family Tree Legends
Post by: junket on Tuesday 23 August 16 20:24 BST (UK)

I use this program, as it suits my visual needs. ( I purchased it about 10 yrs ago ( don't have case close to check version, at present))

Is there a limit, to the amount of information it can hold, please ?
( been told today, it wasn't created to hold the amount of info. I have stored on it ).

This is what one person has said about it.
It starts to get slow as you add more people - my 6500-person family tree has now bogged it down to a crawl. And trying to make those nice charts becomes time-consuming. It won't output charts for me anymore because my family tree is too big.
If you like it it might be advisable to get the latest version or try splitting your tree.

I used this and really liked it for the same reason ( visual ), however, I bought a new laptop and it`s not compatible. There in no newer version of it; the company was bought out by MyHeritage.
