Title: Llannon - Philpot family
Post by: Richards74 on Thursday 01 September 16 18:42 BST (UK)
Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has links or has done any research with the Philpot family from Llannon, Carmarthenshire between 1700's (or earlier) to the early 19th century?

Thank you.

I've got stuck with Israel Philpott(1738-1793) and his father Robert (1700-1766). There are links to Coedcyw Mill and think a Philpott was the last miller of Felin Newydd, Horeb.

Israel Philpot's daughter Mary is my 3x ggmother. She married Thomas Daniel.

The family continued there until 1935 ( Somewhere I have a photo of the last Philpot miller).

The mill is now renovated as a house.
