The marriage betwwen Patrick Nugent and Mary Geoghegan was on 13 May 1858 at Moynalvey, Meath. An RC marriage. Witnesses were Patrick Ward and 'Marg.' Geoghegan.

Then on 16th June 1858 Patrick Ward married Margaret Geoghegan at the same church. Witnesses Patrick Colgan and Catherine Mooney.

No fathers names shown.

These records are from the RC Parish Registers on the Ancestry site.

Hi
Thank you so much for that look up.I am also very pleased with the second marriage which I did'nt have previously. The surname of one of the witnesses (Colgan) also crops up in the family I am researching so I am thinking it is the right marriage.
Regards Gerry.

Hi
Again thanks to Pennines and Sinann.I intended to look at the original images Unfortunately rootsireland does not have the images so I always try to use the NlI website in tandem as I like to view the originals. In the past I have found additional information in the original images and have seen some mistakes on rootsireland.

There were a family of Nugents who lived in Ballinlough Castle in Meath as my grandfather was a shepherd for them for around 20 years.
