Title: St Botolph's Old Church Carlton in Cleveland
Post by: Ceeoh on Wednesday 07 September 16 19:16 BST (UK)
Does anyone know if there are any images, artists impressions, etc., of the old St Botolph's Church in Carlton in Cleveland - prior to the present church built 1897?

Looking for any information for the period 1817.

Hello, just wondering if you found a photo of the old Church? My Grandfather was the vicar there and we have a book that has photos of the old church plus the shortlived one that burnt down.I could e-mail it to you if you have not already found it since posting this message.
Regards Michael

Thank You Michael,

No, I didn't get any further with my request, although a couple of folk were very helpful no-one seemed to have any history or pictures of the church.

I assume you are speaking of the church that was standing there pre 1882 (the new church which burned down).

I would be delighted to have a picture/pictures if you could email them to me.

I will try and send you a PM with my email address

Very many thanks
