Looking for death and place for Lily and birth and death of John. They were married q2 1901 at Wandsworth, London, had a son John Sewell Lake b 15 Apr 1902 at Earlsfield, Surrey and he died 11 Oct 1982 in Bedford. After the son's birth I can find nothing about the couple.

This looks like John in 1901. The address is the same as that on John Sewell LAKE's baptism:

On the 1911 for Lily's parents it says the number of children born and died. Looks to me as though Lily must have died by 1911. What do you think?

Indeed Maureen it looks a possibility as John Sewell is living with his grandparents. Well spotted on both censuses.

Yes Rosie they must've gone to Oz 1916-1941 but can't find record of them leaving the UK?
Did you see the 1901 census that shows a Lily Cummins live with the Sewell family in Lambeth, seems odd they've her as their daughter-wonder if they were her sister and brother in law and that's where the Sewell name comes in?

Yes CR did see that and did wonder but checked it out on www.familysearch.org and she is listed as servant ...Think it has been transcribed wrong on An.....y if you click on the image it does look like serv ???...Baptism record for Lily Leonora Cummins does have her father as Thomas Leonard Cummins mother Mary Ann....I think as Maureen said she has died but not seeing a death ?
Did not see any records either going to Australia ...Their son did make a trip with his wife 12/1/1928...returning 29/1930 ( Sydney )....

Just to muddy the waters further, Rose Evelyn Cummins m Edward Park 25 Dec 1913 Lewisham; she was Lily's sister and she emigrated to Oz with husband and son Albert 11 Mar 1921 to Sydney and I've lost track of her and Edward now too? I think Albert died 26 Dec 1944 in Italy WW2?

Sadly the other members of the family died this is Rose E Park died 1924 registration district Ryoe NSW father Thomas L mother Mary
George L Cummins went also to Australia 1912 died 1933 Ashfield NSW father Thomas L mother Mary

Yes Rosie, I found Rose Evelyn's death notice and burial details. The children of Thomas and Mary didn't live as long as their parents.
I wonder what happened to Edward Park, Rose's widower?

Yes hard to find Edward Park ? did you find Albert Edward Park in any of the Australian records ?..Tried looking on Scotlands People for a death for Lily but no joy ???

Found an Albert Edward Park as d 1940 in NSW but he was just Edward?
He may have married in 1932 in NSW but there seems to be no death for him in Oz?
