I've inherited some Birley family photos recently. One is on my profile. I believe they are George and Catherine Birley. Catherine died in 1920 aged 44. She had 3 daughters. Would love to know more about this family.

Did you mean to post on the One Name Studies board?
If you are just researching this particular Birley family and need help with that research then the moderator can move it to the Lancashire board for you.
If you check freebmd you will find they married in 1905 and Catherine was nee Jordan www.freebmd.org.uk. The marriage is on www.lancashirebmd.org.uk but cannot be looked up in parish records unless you know which church it took place in
The 1911 census will give details of their respective birthyears/birthplaces
Freebmd/LancashireBMD can also be used to check for marriages for their children
One child born pre-1911 and 2 born afterwards - 1912 and 1914 per freebmd

Sorry must hv misunderstood. I have census info and some certs. Was trying to get the photo on the other board but this failed too !
