Title: Can anyone find a marriage Hannigan/McCrory
Post by: Holly Golightly on Sunday 02 October 16 12:28 BST (UK)
Hi there,

I've had no luck locating a marriage for John Hannigan and Annie McCrory. Their first child was born in Omagh in 1899. Can anyone find any possibles?

Cheers, Holly

Married 13 years according to 1911 census-

Oh yes, I did have that noted. Should be married April 3 1897 - April 2 1898 according to that.

You'd need to search a broader range of dates than that- it's not uncommon for ages and dates to be incorrect on documents such as census forms.

I've been searching from 1880 - 1910. I've searched by their names, surnames and even went through all the john & annie/ann etc marriages in Omagh in that time frame. Haven't been able to find them. I guess they may have not been married. But I know John's parents were and can't find theirs. So I'm not sure.

Cheers
