Title: Henry Richardson - Eaton Socon Union Workhouse 1881

Seeking any information on my ancestor Henry Richardson who died in the Union Workhouse at Eaton Socon Bedfordshire on 21st January, 1881. Can anyone tell me any details of Henry?? Otherwise how can I find workhouse records for this institution? What were the conditions here? Any details much appreciated. Thanks Rob

have you acquired death cert?

 
 Henry RICHARDSON   age 76 St. Neot's 3b 198 Deaths Mar 1881

he wont appear 1881 census as that appears several months later.

so born about 1805 , married after 1820/5 , about 36 in 1841 etc....

Hi Fastfusion yes I have been working from the details on the death certificate..seeking more information if obtainable!

Hi Romilly yes I have viewed the attached site. Thanks it is a great reference. I notice Mr. Browning was the informant on the death cert. A pity though that Henry just missed out on the Census!!
