There is a record of a baptism for Patrick Vaughan in 1845 son of Michael Vaughan and Mary Hagerty in the parish of Kilmurry in County Cork. I am researching a brother of Patrick called Denis Vaughan, born in Ireland, who married an Annie O'Malley in Glasgow , Scotland in 1868.
Any information on Michael Vaughan and Mary Hagerty or the birthplace in Ireland of Denis Vaughan would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Do you have an approximate year of birth for Denis? Do you have his parents from Scottish records?
Regards
Heywood

Hello Heywood,
you are correct . My information from Scottish records.
Year of birth is based on Scottish census returns . Giving his year of birth as circa 1845/6. His parents names are from his marriage certificate in Glasgow from 1868 and these are confirmed from his death certificate issued in Glasgow in 1882. The only minor difference being the alternative spelling of his mothers name . This was common with Irish names in Scotland.
So far no sign of a birth though , or any other children to his parents. Perhaps Patrick was Denis as none of Denis' children of which there were 7 were named Patrick. Denis , Matthew and Michael were the three boys, all born in Glasgow.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Baird

Sorry, I can't see any others as you say.
Have you checked in Scotland for other Vaughan - possibly siblings?

Cheers heywood,
