I'm guessing it is not permissible to put part of an image taken from a site onto a rootschat thread?? :o

You are able to post a small portion of an image. If you want some handwriting deciphered for example, it is permissible to post the relevant section, and advisable that you include a little of the surrounding writing which can be helpful to get a feel for the writing.
You can also supply a link to the image for anyone who has a subscription to have a look, or give details on how to check the image.

I think the only threads you can lock yourself are those on the Totally off Topic board. You can either ask a Mod to lock this one or just go back to the first post and add completed to the title.
