Title: BATES Marriage

Folks,
John William BATES b 1845 in Yaxley s/o William Bates and Ann Speechley.There is also John Bates b 1845,registered Peterborough,birthplace unknown.
In Jul 1872 John marries Caroline Stallebrass in Yaxley,1881 census has the couple with three children living in Yaxley.
In 1883 Caroline dies,1891 census has John with wife Elizabeth,born c 1841 in Thorney,Cambridgeshire.
Elizabeth dies in 1904 and in 1906 John marries Lilian King,John dies in 1911.
I have not been able to find a marriage of John and Elizabeth in either Huntingdonshire (Have Yaxley PR's) or Cambridgeshire.
Any thoughts?
