Her Mother Janet McVicar nee Crosbie Born 1862 died 1940
Arrived in Quebec 1912
Married James lamb 4 Mar 1916
1st born: James Lamb 1917
2nd born James Norman Lamb
3rd born: Janet Walker McVicar

They lived at 99 Roselawn., Toronto,

Possibility - Canada Voters List 1957 shows a James Norman Lamb - 44 heather Road Scarborough York Ontario. Aircft Ins. Also a Mrs James Lamb.

Feb 5 1944 list of war wounded has James Norman Lamb, Pte, NOK Mrs Mary Lamb of 99 Roselawn
So, James Sr likely not living in 1944.

Obit for James Lamb in the Globe and Mail newspaper 31 Jan 1968, page 35. He died at the Brantford General Hospital on 30 Jan 1968. Husband of Mary McVicar. Father of Janet (Mrs Norman Earl Griffin) of Brantford and John Lamb of Willowdale (this is an area in the northern part of Toronto) and the late James Norman Lamb. Several grandchildren named (I won't name them here). Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

She died in Brantford on July 28 1970. Wife of the late James Lamb of 99 Roselawn Ave. Mother of Janet W Griffin of Brantford, John and the late James Norman Lamb. Grandchildren listed. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

FYI...the Brantford Library has an online BMD Database from the locals newspaper(s) which covers 1852-2016.

Catherine Lamb was born 7 Jun 1905 at 244 Cumlodden Drive Glasgow, her birth was registered at Maryhill district Lanark County.
Her parents James Lamb, railway guard, and Janet Couper were married 18 Aug 1904 Rutherglen.
James 31, Jessie (aka Janet) 34 & Catherine 5 in 1911 census Maryhill district Lanark County.
James 32 railway guard alone aboard PRETORIAN arrived Quebec City on 24 Apr 1913 heded for Toronto.
Catherine 14 alone aboard BALTIC arrived Halifax on 27 Sep 1919 headed for Toronto.
Wonder what happened to Catherine after 1921, why no mention in any obits?

Sadly, Catherine died June 5, 1924 age 19, in Toronto.
