Title: Neil Macpherson 1839 of Milovaig

Hi , This one is doing my head in , I would very much appreciate some assistance please...
Neil Macpherson 1839 widower married Dorothy McKinnon nee Campbell 1847 widow . The 1891 household census shows they had three children Donald 1884 , Marion 1887 , Flora A 1890 .. There are also two children from Dorothy  first marriage Alexander McKinnon 1878 & Catherine McKinnon 1881 ...
Neil Macpherson 1839 widower on 1881 household census  shows Neil Macpherson 40 crofter , Mary 16 stepdaughter Peter McSwan 17 servant . I cannot find Neils first wife or the surname of his stepdaughter Mary , can any one help please .... Cheers Edward  :) :) :)

Hi ,

Looking at the free LDS 1881 Census transcription on Scotlandspeople -
Mary McLeod(McPherson) S Dau 16 born Duirimish Inverness (Duirinish ?).

Does Neil's death certificate name both his wives ?

Was Neil married on the 1871 Census ?

Hi ev , Thank you for your time & help , Neils death certificate does not show both wives for some reason only his second wife Dorothy McKinnon Macpherson nee Campbell ... The 1871 census shows Neil living at home not married ...
It looks like he married after the census was taken for 1871 ...
