Title: Wills of 1700
Post by: amh155 on Wednesday 21 December 16 10:48 GMT (UK)
Hello all,
I've been looking at wills about 1700 and in two of them have found that one of the items bequeathed seems to read Iron Marmaset(t). Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Thank you,
AMH

A marmelet is a small cooking pot. Maybe a variation on that? cb

Thank you Clayton, that sounds logical, as in one will it's listed after a heifer, and a chest, so possibly in decreasing order of importance.
