Entry #63 in this death registrar is for my great-grandfather James Drake: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1905/05587/4569861.pdf
I have trouble to decipher the name of the district. I read:
1905 DEATHS Registered in the District of ??????? in the Union of S(outh) Dublin in the County of Dublin
Thanks a lot for your help!

I'm not familiar with Dublin registration districts, but it looks to me like S. City No. 1 - is that feasible?
-
It makes sense but I am also unfamiliar with Dublin districts!
I appreciate you effort. Thanks.

Found it! South City No.1 was a sub-district of the Dublin South registration district.
This is from a listing at http://genealogyresearch.org.uk/irl_registrationdistricts1871.pdf - I've downloaded one to keep.

This site is very handy for Reg districts in Ireland as not only does it give you a map but also surrounding districts, towns and so on.

The name of the street was doing my head in, I thought it said Fridriell which didn't seem correct, tried all sort of searches and combinations, than finally though to see if he had made a will.
He lived at 14 North Frederick St. I'd be useless at transcribing. :D

Thanks, I knew from other sources that he was living at 14 North Frederick St.
