Thomas Gibboney/Gibbony (1784-1839) hailed from Drumnakilly, County Tyrone, Ireland, and was married to Margaret Kyle (1786-1853). Together, they had seven children, six of whom were born in Ireland. These children were: Elizabeth Gibboney (1806- 1852), Ann Gibboney (1808- 1866), Jane Kyle Gibboney (1809-1859), Robert E Gibboney (1810-1867), David Kyle Gibboney (1814-1823), William Gibboney (1815-1901), & Dr. James Madison Gibboney (1817-1894).
The parents and six children left for America abt 1815 and settled in Wytheville, Virginia, area.
What I’m looking for is any trace of the Gibboney’s or their ancestors in Northern Ireland.

There is a John Gibbony and William Gibbony of Drumnakelly townland, and Termonmaguirk Parish mentioned in a Freeholder application for Dec 22 1829. Perhaps Termonmaguirk is the same parish that Thomas Gibboney (1784-1839) and his family hailed from.
