Hi all
This post is a long shot but I have decided to post anyway. I am looking for old police photographs of superintendents that worked in Lincolnshire about 1911. I am looking for a Robert Wilkinson in particular who was a superintendent at Gainsborough police station in 1911. He was born in 1859 in Rutland Lincolnshire and was living at the police station with his wife and young family at the time. I have asked at the local station, they have nothing, I have trawled the internet and found odd bits (BMD) but what I really want is a photo of him. I have found a few cabinet portraits of sergeants that worked in Gainsborough, surely if I can find sergeant pictures there should be superintendent portraits somewhere. I have also asked local museums but nothing unfortunately. I have started to trace his family tree to see if I can get hold of living relatives but only got to the 1920s and his grand kids disappear. I did say it was a long shot but I know all you guys are great and will try your best. Thanks in advance xx
I think I am in touch with someone from this family.... A widdowson.... With Robert Cecil Wilkinson in her questions...

Sorry, I should have mentioned the marriage, which is as Trish mentioned, and there some trees with her surname. I wondered if the owner might have a photograph, although they don't have Robert's father

Also, Freebmd also has Diana M (not LI) and Ethel M - mother's maiden name Widdowson.
There is a possible marriage for Diana in 1949 in Nottingham but possibly still living.

I can't find a picture of Robert but I have found one of his daughter Diana at her wedding.
She may still be alive, so I can't give the full details.
The picture is in the Nottingham Evening Post 22 April 1949.
