Yes it does seem strange Catherine Hughes on 1901c seems to match with the Catherine Hughes on 1881c https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q27H-PVH4 (as previously posted)
I still haven't found any birth entries for Thomas Hughes born c 1885 or James Hughes born c 1872
as per 1891 c in Cornwall and I can't see a birth entry for a Edward J Hughes c1885 Cornwall on FreeBMD either ???
