Hi all,
I am helping out a friend who is looking for his ancestor Alice Codd born about 1863 Wexford, Ireland. Daughter of Thomas or James Codd and Joan Murphy, and Siblings were Thomas and Mary.
This family went to South America before 1879.
I am currently searching through the online Catholic Parish Registers at NLI for County Wexford which has about 135 parish so far have looked at about 5 parishes.
So while I continue searching online, I was wondering if anyone has these names in their family tree or any other information that might help.'
Thank you in advance.

Do you know if Alice's siblings were older or younger than her? If they were younger Irishgenealogy.ie might be a big help.

Good suggestion. Family search shows a birth to a James Codd and Joanna Murphy in the Oulart registration district on 6 March 1864.
Irish genealogy has this at

OP - trying to go through all parish records is inefficient and likely to drive you mad - you need to find likely localities/candidates, such as the above.

Lived in Killisk so the RC parish of The Ballagh.
Hopefully.

According to the National Library of Ireland site, the registers for Baptisms from the Ballagh go from Oct 1837 to Jan 1853 (also Oct 1837 to Oct 1839) and Oct 1863 to January 1880 (also Feb 1875 to Dec 1880). So missing critical 1853 to 1863!

Quite why the NLI insist on using quaint or obsolete names for many parishes escapes me. The Ballagh (Ballaghkeene) is a curacy. The parish church is at Oulart, and the parish is much better known by the latter name for probably 150 years or so.
