Hi ,
can anyone tell me if there is a street directory for Londonderry around 1940 and if so were would you be able to look it up.
thank you,
ern

Closest I can think of online to 1940 is this 1957 list-

Derry Central Library does have some directories in their collection so perhaps contact them if no one can help.

Thank you Aghadowey hopefully it will produce some results.
-
It may be that there won't be a directory covering the period you need due to the 2nd World War but usually directories were compiled before the issue date (1940 might have been compiled & printed in 1939).
-
I have access to a 1957 and 1933 directory if it helps. Let me know.
-
I can check Central Library this week if you want me to do a look up for you.
