Title: Burial Lookup: WHITE, ≤1845 - Bletsoe

Hello,

Could someone look up the burials in Bletsoe for the following two people, please.

George White - occupation = Carpenter/Labourer
Hannah White - wife of the above

Both died sometime between 1816 and 1845 so they must have been aged no older than around 66 years.

There's a George White age 49 buried on 9 Aug 1829 and a Hannah White age 43 on 14 Aug 1829.

Was there an epidemic?

George White married Hannah Noble 12 Oct 1807 at Bletsoe

George White baptised 27 Sep 1779 Bletsoe, son of John White & Mary Cambers

Thanks for the info - I'd guess it was consumption or a similar illness.

I presume these burials took place at the parish church, St Mary's?

just for the record, George White's sister Elizabeth 1769-1818, was 2nd wife to my gt-gt-gt-grandfather Thomas Partridge, married in 1790.

Interesting. George White and Hannah Noble are the parents of Thomas White who is my 3rd great-grandfather.
