Title: Hugh McCormick 1804 Dalry

I have the above in my tree and am trying to find his parents. I have his death as 15 Jul 1861?
I have his wife's name as Elisabeth Morrison Riddick.
Anybody help please.

Hi if you have his death did you mean death certificate ? as that should have his parent's names if known ...A few tree's have his father as John McCormick mother Jean McCulloch but that would need to be checked

I think his wife died the same year(1861) age 50 , Crossmichael Kirkcudbright(shire).
Hugh McCorrmick death 1861 , age 58 ,  Crossmichael Kirkcudbright(shire).

His death certificate on www.scotlandspeople.gov will give you the names of his parents

I second getting the death certificate, they give good information providing the informant knew the information.  Just one question though, was it definitely Dalry Ayrshire he was from. I see you think he died in Kirkcudbrightshire and there is a Dalry there also?
