Looking for information on above person born 1892 Peterhead, Aberdeenshire on Ancestry it say's he went to Canada in 1922
Parents George Clark & Christina S Park married 1885 Aberdeen
Any marriage or children for him

His Canada, Ocean Arrivals (Form 30A), 1922 shows his next of kin as his Wife
She is named as Mrs. Clark, 79 King Street, Peterhead
He was travelling to a Mr. William Mitchell in Toronto who is described as his brother-in-law
This could mean his wife's maiden name was Mitchell
However this man may have been married to his sister

Eleanor's obituary is in the Globe and Mail newspaper on March 23 and March 24th 1951. Says she is Eleanor Yuill Mitchell. She died in Oakville on March 22 1951. Wife of the late William Mitchell. Mother of Elsie (Mrs J Coe) of Toronto, William of Dartmouth N.S., Arabelle (Mrs B McLeod), Eleanor (Mrs Charles Bradley), Kathleen (Mrs Samuel Pentland), Gladys (Mrs Earl Smith) of Oakville. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery.

ADDED --- No mention of her sister Mary :'(. Not seeing an obit for Mary in the Toronto papers. Doesn't mean she didn't die here...

I am the granddaughter of Elsie Mitchell Coe. My grandfather was Thomas Anselmi. I am looking for information on Thomas Anselmi as I never met him or knew of his existence.
I have been building my family tree on ancestry.com. From what I can see John Clark may have been married to one of my 2X great-aunts. Was he married to Elspet Mitchell or Katherine Mitchell?

This census record is not quite true. Joseph Anselmy is the son of Elsie Mitchell not her nephew. Elsie married my grandfather Thomas Anselmi. They moved to Quebec after they married but the marriage didn’t last. Elsie and Joseph moved back to Toronto before the census was taken. They listed him as a nephew. Elsie divorced Thomas and remarried John Coe. Some time after the census Joseph Anselmi’s name was changed to Joseph Mitchell. Joseph Mitchell is my father. My father didn’t live with Elsie and John Coe. He lived with his grandparents William and Elenor Mitchell.
