Reginald was b. in Berkshire on 10 Aug 1900, the son of William James Alley and Mary Ann Honor Alley (nee Goodwin).
I have Reginald on the 1901 and 1911 census with his parents, and some limited WWI Medal Roll info and then nothing.
However, I've just found him, as a single man, in Jersey in January 1941. I've tried looking on Jerripediabmd.net, but can't find a death/burial for him, so he's disappeared again.
Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks

Hi
Jersey Archive has a Funeral Record for him at L/A/41/D1/16 with deaths between April 22nd 1965 - February 27th 1969. Unfortunately is not currently available on-line and the Archive is closed until Tuesday.
They also have his Occupation Registration Card, including a photo.

Oh, are you near the Archive and could do a look-up for me, please?
I already have his Occupation Registration Card (via Ancestry), thank you.

Can do but as I said, it will be next week.

Next week would be just fine. I've been trying to find Reginald for about 10 years, so one more week won't make any difference.
Thank you so much. ;D

Not a particularly informative result other than he died 17th Jan 1966.
I have found his death record at St. Helier deaths, Jan 64 to Jan 66, volume 71, page 100.
I will have a look at the certificate later this week.

The death certificate has little further information.
He died at the General Hospital on 17th Jan 1966 from congestive heart failure and chronic bronchitis. He was 65 years and 5 months.
Strangely, the death was report by G J Sleep, a Chef Commis at the hospital
