OK 8)
I've come across a birth-place that "Ancestry" (and me) have interpreted as PANERASUGHE, DEVON. The writing is very clear on the Original.

Pancrasweek?

It is the right number of letters and most of them are correct ;D

Which is why I suggested it! ;D

Sorry. For some reason I can't upload the snip I took of the Original so everyone can see it. (It's in 1911 so I'm not sure I can give any further information!).
I agree Pancrasweek is very logical. Panerasughe is very clearly written however. Maybe the person who filled it in heard it in a Devon accent and tried to spell it phonetically. ???
